Privacy policy

Copy Check runs entirely in your browser. Your copy never leaves your device.

What happens to your copy

When you paste or type text and select “Check my copy,” the checking code that loaded with this page analyzes the text on your device. The text, the optional name context and the results aren't uploaded, sent to KHS Press, sent to an AI service or third-party checking service, or used to train AI models.

Storage

Copy Check doesn't save drafts, name context or results. It uses no cookies, browser storage, accounts or sign-in. Reloading or closing the page discards everything you entered.

Analytics and logs

The site contains no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Like any website, the hosting provider may keep ordinary web-server request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Those logs never include the text you check.

Name context

The optional name list is used only on your device to compare names and grades in the copy you're checking. It isn't connected to Skyward or any student directory. Avoid entering more personal information than the check needs.

Support messages

If you email KHS Press, the mailbox receives your address and message, and they're used only to answer you. Please don't send a student's personal information or a full real draft unless you mean to share it.

Contact

Questions can go to fitz.khspress@gmail.com. KHS Press will update this page if these practices change.
